Description
This is an AMC V8 roller cam anti-walk button. This a a great solution to keeping your cam from walking and is a much simpler method than using an expensive thrust plate that requires machining. This is a very effective part made of very durable delrin and is very easy to install. We include the correct epoxy for adhering to aluminum timing cover and delrin. Simply clean the parts, rough up the aluminum, apply the epoxy to the delrin and timing cover and apply about 10 lbs weight on the button over night and you’ll never get this off! Next you’ll have to polish the head of the bolt using sand paper and a drill motor. Once the button is fully secured, apply a small amount of clay or putty to the bolt head and test bolt-on your timing cover w/ the gasket. Essentially you will want the clay to flatten down to about .040″. If you have less than .040″, remove more of the cam bolt head and reapply the clay until you have .040″. We are more than willing to help with any questions and support, so please message if you need any assistance.
